Teviot District Museum
The Teviot District Museum showcases the history of the Teviot valley. This collection includes domestic, horitcultural, agricultural, geological, and archaeological artefacts. Key parts of the collection record the effects of Gold Mining and local Chinese heritage, as well as the construction of the Roxburgh Hydro Electricity Dam.
The Teviot District Museum is based in the district's first Methodist church, a stone building dating from 1872.
