About this object

This small book has solid wood covers and contains pages of pressed flowers from the Holy Land. It was brought back home to Otago after WWI by Mr Kemp whose wife was a Haughton of Roxburgh. Their daughter, Rita, was a niece of Wm Haughton of Avoca House and her son Gordon Evans sent this book to the museum as a gift in 2003.
