About this object

Large metal "dish" with groove halfway around the inside rim for catching gold.

a. Outside painted black; strip of metal under rim on outside. 460mm diameter; metal ripped in two places well worn and beaten. Mended centre bottom;
b. 400mm diameter.
c. 400mm diam with gold spike through hole near centre;
d. 320mm diam. Rusted base, rough wire hook attached through 2 holes on side.
e. 400mm diameter with rusted base.
