About this object

Wooden boot last, right foot. A wooden handle attached to metal screws down through the ankle to heel, The heel section is hinged under the toe by a metal hinge with three screws each side which drops down from just above the widest part of the foot. A strip of wood down the centre back of last suggests there is a section missing from the heel to the ankle. There is a piece of string tied onto the metal screw.
