About this object

Wooden framed tent shaped mantel piece clock with wooden framed door held by three hinges, locked by decorative key. Roman numerals are painted in black on a chipped white metal clock face; the inner dial of brass also has roman numerals with decorative metal hands; there are two key apertures on the clock face but keys are missing. The upper half of door is clear glass showing the clock face; the lower half of door has a painted picture of a Greek style building with mountains behind and horses in front. The brass clock workings, chime and pendulum are hidden by the door and clock face.
