About this object

Small gold coloured clock commemorating the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. The clock face depicts the Queen on horseback. " Coronation June !953 " is written on the dial and ELIZABETH E II R on the places where numbers would normally be.
The box is cream coloured with brown checking. A gold coloured medallion is attached to the lid and also inside on the satin type fabric that lines the box interior. The medallion has a profile of the Queen and the words Coronation Souvenir.
