About this object

Baby's white cotton christening gown with round neck and short sleeves with lace edges. Broad lace swathe panel right down front of gown. Layered lace on front panel. The gown is drawn at waist with tie and has a tie on neck.
Worn by Mrs Dorothy James (nee Bell) who lived in Cromwell. Her children were also christened in this gown.
