A 53 page self-published coil bound photocopied book including black and white photographs telling the family history of William George Mouat a surveyor and gold miner. William later married Mary Foord and they had two sons. William began as a surveyor in the Cardrona Valley and climbed to the top of Mt Aspiring with Tom Mantell, another surveyor.
