It was bought new by J. B. C. Watt of Gore, who used it on his farm. Its longest journey is thought to be from his property at Waipounamu to Dunedin for a load of cased kerosene. Bill Richardson bought the truck from Mr Watt’s grandson James Watt of Wendonside in 1999.
