This truck was purchased new by Patrick O'Halloran in Christchurch. It changed ownership in May 1936 to William Millner and again in April 1937 to International Harvester Company. In June 1937 it was purchased by William Hansen of Tai Tapu. In May 1943 it was sold to J M Haywood Co Ltd and in November 1947 to Andrews and Beaven, who owned until 1950. James Frame of Leithfield purchased it in December 1950 and mounted a Mobil seed dressing plant on it. It was used for many years, eventually being taken over by his son, who removed the seed dressing plant and set it up as a stationary seed dresser in a shed in Culverden, where it is still operated today by Ben Frame, Jims' grandson. The next owner of the truck was Percy Baker, who used it on his farm and took it to Fairlie when he purchased a farm down there. We purchased it from Bruce Mason of Pleasant Point in 2006 and completed the restoration in 2012.
