This truck, bought new by Mossburn Transport, was one of the first Japanese diesel trucks to operate in Southland.
It was originally a bulk sower and then a tractor unit. It was sold to M. W. Hodges of Maitland who eventually made it into a 6 x 4 tipper. Nissan purchased and restored it in the late 1980s. They used it for shows for 5 or 6 years. They donated it to Bill Richardson in 1993.
