This truck was bought new by Blackwell Motors (GM dealers) who registered it in their managers name (Arthur Burke) for 12 months. Blackwells sold out to Mocketts Motors in 1938. They sold the truck to Amuri County, who used it as a fire engine. It was bought by R. M. Thomson of Culverden in 1957 and sold to George Wallis of Wanaka in approximately 1989. Bill Richardson bought it from George in 1995.

The first big truck I ever drove, hauling logs to the mill in Evensviille, Vt., then the sawn lumber to building sites. My Dad also owned 2 Ford Model B Fords.
