A black and white photograph of the staff who worked in the Bag Factory at the Mataura Paper Mill, c.1949. The bag factory was based in its own building in Kana Street across from the main Mill. The factory made a wide range of bags including bags designed for: confectionery, beer bottles, hats, coins, groceries and for storing kapok.
