A black and white photograph, printed as a postcard of Nan Taylor posing in her competitive dancing outfit.
Nan Taylor participated in dancing competitions similar to those staged by the Caledonian Society of Otago. See object MT2011.185.235 to view her competitor's ticket for one such event. According to the book 'Mataura: City of the Falls' (pg. 81), during her two years of competing, Nan won 23 medals, most of which were for Highland Dancing. Nan's married name was Willcocks.
