A black and white postcard of James Reid's boot shop on River Street, Mataura c.1910. James (Putty) Reid was a Mataura based boot maker and costumier from the late 1880s to approximately 1917. His first shop was in Bridge Street but he traded out of this shop from 1905 to 1917.
