Letter; sympathy letter dated 13 March 1943 from Alexander (Alex) Robert Entrican, Director of Forestry, to Clara Catherine Quilter on the death of her husband, Thomas George Quilter. Thomas died on 20 February 1943 while deployed as a bomb disposal officer with the Royal Engineers during Operation Torch.

Alex Entrican was Thomas' colleague in the State Forest Service and its Director from 1939 to 1961.
