About this objectA black and white photograph of Driver John McGregor Grierson of Mataura who was known as Jack. Jack joined the New Zealand Field Artillery in 1916 and was one of the lucky men who survived World War One. He returned home to Eastern Southland, married Ngaire Grierson and lived locally to the ripe old age of 86.
