Book; purple covered book, Ballads of Scotland. Volume 2. Inscription on the fly leaf reads: 'Forrest Brown 1860'. Volume 2 is also in the collection. Forrest Brown built and owned the flour mill on the west bank of the Mataura River. The Mataura Flour Mill was demolished in 1892 to make room for the Mataura Freezing Works.
