Ram press cases - door handleAbout this object
Two parts of a ram press case used in the production of a plaster mould. Each consists of a plaster body held within a cylindrical metal frame. The metal frames each have two circular fittings which would hold a pin to join the two parts. One part has a circular conical relief shape of the bottom half of a large handle. The opposite half has a dome shape, with geometric repeating pattern, to form the top half of a large handle. Both have an arrow pointing to the edge of the frame.
