About this object

Boxed set of four mugs and saucers.
1. The outer box is rectangular and made from corrugated cardboard. It has an angular pattern like waves moving across its surface in tones of grey. The text on the top of the box is written in red and says, "Mocha by Crown Lynn. 8 piece coffee set (4 mugs/4 saucers." "Mocha by Crown Lynn. 8 piece coffee set" is also written on each of the 4 sides of the box and is accompanied by a silhouette in white of a mug and saucer on three of them."'Made in New Zealand" is written on each of the smaller ends of the box.
2. Removable insert for box. Shaped to receive the mugs and saucers, when folded. White on one side, brown on the other.
3-5. Square saucer packers made from dimpled brown paper.
6-9. Mugs. Pink colourglaze cylindrical mugs with slightly flared lip and loop handle. Clearglazed inside. Wraparound onglaze transfer in pink, white and grey of orchids.
10-13. Saucers. Deep rimmed with plain pink colourglaze all over.
