Turnette
About this object
Wooden table used to support a model of a few kilograms while rotating easily. Used to rest turning stick for balance. Turning stick is a dowel with a flat end. Stick was held against the body and pushed into table while turning. Foot was a pedal. there is a worn part in the centre of the board.
On the underside there are notes written in pencil:
