About this object

Hexagonal table from the home of Mr E. Roy Brewster a bee keeper. Roy Brewster 1908 - 1978 lived in New Plymouth. His house was hexagonal in shape and apart from the stove and laundry tup everything was hexagonal in shape. The original 'Norian' house was a stop for many visitors. It was demolished at its location in central New Plymouth and while planned for re-erection at Egmont Village never eventuated. Only some parts were salvaged for display at the museum.
