Tablecloth created at the Greymouth Sailors Rest on the waterfront. The Sailor's Rest was a place for ships crews to visit (instead of visiting hotels) a non-drinking establishment that had music and entertainment. White large cotton throw with signatures from hundreds of visitors, local Greymouth and travelling people. The cloth was worked by Mrs. Sarah Anne Cathcart, a Greymouth midwife.Collection
