Photograph [Margaret flood, Kate Clendon and Kitty Flood]

About this object

This black and white photograph pictures Margaret and Kitty Flood with their aunt Kate (Juliet Catherine Quigley). All three women are wearing light-coloured dresses and are standing in a domestic garden. It is possible that this photograph was taken at Clendon House where Kate and her husband, George, resided.

Margaret and Kitty were the daughters of Frances Louisa Clendon and Robert Patrick Flood. Kitty was born on 3 October 1896 and married Nicholas Brown on 11 January 1928, while her younger sister, Margaret, was born on 14 November 1898 and married Florence Daniel Donovan on 10 April 1928. They also had two brothers, Thomas and George, as well as a younger sister, Mary.

This photograph is a modern copy made from the original.
