The title page is printed with an ornate neoclassical design of a building or memorial with a central 'plaque' which contains the title and publication details. Printed in London in 1668 by John Bill and Christopher Barker. Inscribed on the first frontispiece is 'Ex Libris / Guil. Romaine / Ex [?] Oxon' [i.e. William Romaine]. Below this is a scrolling motif with the central initials 'DV'. Below this is the further inscription 'Henry Govett / The Gift of his affec: / Grandmamma Romaine / April 29 - 1826'.
