About this object

A brown and cream coloured cane box with a hinged lid joined to the body with cane "hooks". Cream cane is plaited. It rests on 4 short cane legs. It is lined with red quilted silk that is stuffed with some type of cushion-like stuffing. The cane work is bound with multi-stranded cotton threads.
