A black and white photograph of Palmerston Street in Riverton, taken looking east. This photograph was donated by the Brick family, who believe it was taken on the family Brownie camera.
Kathleen (Kathy) remembers coming to Riverton for fish and chips on a Friday night. Older siblings John and Margaret worked in Invercargill and arrived in Riverton on the last bus at 10pm. Kathy remembers fun evenings killing time waiting for them to arrive.
