About this object

This is a the propeller of James William Humphreys Scotland Caudron C Biplane "Bluebird". Scotland first flew a 20 minute flight from a paddock near Te Horo on January the 27th 1914. In February the same year, Scotland flew the "Bluebird" on the first cross-country flight in Australasia between Gore and Invercargill.
