Gold plated brooch with decorative swirls surrounding an oval glass encased centre, encasing a rolled lock of human hair visible from the front. On the rear of the glass encased centre, the hair is tightly woven into a series of eight tiny rows. There is a small circular attachment at the top centre of the brooch (maybe for later use as a necklace). The brooch is attached by means of a horizontal pin and decorative clasp on the rear.Medium and Materials
