HMV Model 101 Sidewind. It has a pivoted front corner needle bin containing spare stylus needles., automatic brake and is fitted with the later No.59 single spring motor and a brass-backed No.4 sound box. Finished in blue Rexine® with a leather handle and has nickel plated fittings. Plays 78's, the handle is missing. The case is wooden (covered in Blue Rexine®, and there is a storage pull out to hold records on u/s of lid. Has logo "His Masters Voice" and a badge "Supplied by Harrods of London"
Has a 78 record on turntable "The Irish Emigrant" by Ernest Pike
