Museum comprises 4 main buildings - old Schoolhouse - original headmaster's home. Contains photos of milling and timber, old Helensville, shipping and Kaipara Harbour.
Small kitchen facility and 'shop' selling books on the history of area, plus some handscrafts and home made jams and preserves.
Archive room with family portraits and family history collection. Plus manuscripts, papers and documents.
Collection of photographs include the Alan Jordan collection of Kaukapakapa.West photo collection.
A good selection of photographs of local schools.
Hedley House is a renovated Edwardian cottage.
The Courthouse is the original courthouse which was in use until 1970s. Jailhouse close to Courthouse.
Hec Nicholls Memorial Barn which will hold ancineta farming implemensts when up and running.
