Bottle, Bronkos Cough Paste

About this object

This is a light green coloured glass jar with 'BronKo's Cough Paste" embossed on the front. The remains of a paper label is on one side. It is part of a large collection of chemist's equipment which came from the old Wyndham pharmacy in Balaclava Street. Interestingly, the manufacturer, Osmond & Son of Grimsby UK was known as an agricultural chemist. We know that the pharmacy sold pharmaceuticals for both people and animals and this jar is an example of one of the animal pharmaceuticals which the Wyndham pharmacy sold.
