Apron, Swiss Voile ; Unknown maker; 1900-1910; WY.2014.6.1

Name/Title

Apron, Swiss Voile

About this object

This is a full-length apron, made from Swiss voile with crocheted lace applied around the bib and neckline. The two buttonholes at the waist and neck have been made by hand, however the buttons don't match, the mother-of-pearl button probably being the original.

The apron is in excellent condition, and may well have been kept for Sunday Best.
