About this object

A black and white photograph of the exterior, staff and two suppliers of the First Seaward Downs Dairy Factory. Only one of the men has been identified, he is A Dunlop (second from right), who managed the Factory between 1906 and 1910.

A fuller history of the factory can be found in O. L. Collinson's book 'Dairy Factories of the South' ISBN 0-473-07181-9.
