About this object
This is a photograph of Wyndham with flood water. The photograph was taken from the saleyards corner during the April 1968 Wyndham Flood. Daryl McLellan's home is on the near corner and the saleyards are in the lower right. Cars line the street along the side of the road to Mimihau and Mokoreta ready to leave by the last available exit from town.
This photograph is printed in the book 'Wyndham' by Agnes Thwaites. A description of floods in the area is also recorded there.
