Box of archives pertaining to the Golden Jubilee of the Morton Mains School, 8 - 11 January 1954 with the school commemorating the period December 1903 to December 1953. Includes a booklet with forward written by C. L. Morton.

The booklet has a short history of the school, a list of past teachers and relieving teachers, order of events for the Jubilee, order of church service on the Sunday, banquet programme and school photos. Stapled to the cover is a yellow ribbon for a pupil 1913-1923; on the last page are a number of autographs from past pupils. The book has the name A. J. Jefferis. There is a second booklet with no markings on it.

The Southern Star was a school magazine which was first put out in June 1939 - the copy in the museum states Volume 1 No 1. The magazine has stories, handy hints, recipes, jokes and hand written advertisements.
