These four identical booklets are the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Wyndham Dairy Factory Limited.
They include a list of names, addresses and occupations of subscribers and the number of shares they held. The subscribers were James Forsyth, Edendale, Farmer; James Lumsden, Wyndham, Farmer, John Templeton, Wyndham, Merchant; David McKay, Wyndham, Merchant; James Allan, Wyndham, Farmer; David Doull, Wyndham, farmer; I. W. Raymond, Wyndham, Land Agent; James Milne, Wyndham, Farmer.
The booklet includes information about the shares, auditing etc and is dated 29th day of July, 1885.
Interestingly, these booklets were printed by W. J. Marsh, Printer, Herald Office. Marsh had, the same month, arrived in Wyndham to commence publication of The Wyndham Herald newspaper, which would remain in print for over 55 years.
