About this object

This is a photograph of four lines of past pupils of the Edendale School on the occasion of the Centennial in 1975. Mrs Isla Findley made ten cakes for the occasion, one for each decade. The cakes were iced in gold tonings using a coffee brown colouring. She etched the names of 198 teachers on the different sections.
