Lidded Pot, Black Cast Iron
About this object
This small black cast iron pot could have been hung over an open fire or used on a coal range. As well as the main swinging handle there is a small handle at the front which would have made it easier to handle when very hot. It was made by Kenricks of England and holds 6 pints.
Established in 1791, Kenrick still operates today and is a major manufacturer of ball castors.
