1910 New Brighton Scout Efficiency Medal

About this object

In the early years of the Scout Movement in New Zealand there were many local and unofficial medals and medalions used for presentations, partly to cover the length of time it took to get things from England. This medal was presented by Sergt.Major Hopkin, NZEF, to Scout knight of the New Brighton troop for general efficiency. The medal has a yellow and black ribbon which also happen to be the colours of the New Brighton Troop scarf.
