The Camp Cook was one of the many specialty proficiency badges a Scout could earn. This style was in use from 1907 to 1967 not only here in New Zealand but throughout the British Commonwealth. there are varieties in manufacture, materials and colour shades in the 13 examples shown including early unnamed on felt, named (Boy Scout) on felt, woven on ribbon, and backed and bound.
