1908 original issue of Scouting for Boys

About this object

When Robert Baden-Powell first published his book "Scouting for Boys", it was not in book form, but it was as a magazine style in 6 parts published fortnightly, of which we have 4 parts. Each had a different cover design and these were not by Baden-Powell but by John Hassall. In magazine form they were published by Horace Cox of London, while all subsequent editions were by Pearson's.
