Cigarette Lighter

About this object

Silver coloured Cigarette Lighter. The front and back have an outer border containing an etched scroll pattern. The central portion has a larger scroll pattern. Near the top of the lighter, on the front is a black plastic slide with grooves which is apparently the switch. The sides of the lighter are rounded with one side having 3 slots at the top. The top has a single hole adjacent to the side slots. The base has small screw with an outer ring which is scored diagonally. Immediately below this are 2 opposing arrows with a flame depicted at the arrow end - one being small and the other larger - a control mechanism. Below this is a larger screw with another outer ring also scored on the diagonal. One part has a directional arrow and the other half has " Battery" engraved. At the base is the word "TANITA" and in smaller letters "celdon- a rectangle with a dot then 5. P E S immediately beneath.
