It is on rag paper, hand written on both sides in black ink, and has a list of items on the left of the page and columns of numbers on the right side. Duty stamp on the back.Maker

Bishop Monrad, the former Prime Minister of Denmark, his wife and family settled at Karere in the Manawatu from 1867 (they arrived in New Zealand in 1866). The Bishop and his wife returned to Denmark in 1869, but his sons stayed to become prominent Manawatu settlers.
