Last tram (no. 189) to Onehunga on 28 December 1956 having just cleared the Grand Union at Customs and Queen Streets. It is passing no. 208 which was about to turn right into Customs Street West and head home via Parnell to Epsom Depot. This was the last time trams passed in Queen Street on regular roistered service. The next day trams were resorted free during the morning until the last procession back to the depot.
