These papers are a collection pertaining to the Mooney Family Tree.
The information has been collected by a number of descendants of Samuel Mooney b 1823 d 1904 and Elizabeth Jane Mooney, nee Trevarthen b 1833 d 1911.
Samuel Mooney came to NZ with the 58th Regiment. He married Elizabeth Mooney and they lived at 'Kauri Falls', Kaiwaka.
Also included is information on Samuel John Mooney b 2853 d 1930 and Sarah Mooney nee Cullen b 1860 d unknown and their descendants.
Some of these items are part of a Collection donated by Wayne Child in 2016. The Collection includes Family Trees of the Trevarthen, Leslie, and Mooney families, marriage certificates and wills, certificates, 6 photographs and a story of Susannah Cullen
