About this object

A silver case used for holding eye glasses.
The front of the case is heavily etched and the back is smooth. A linked chain is attached to the case and at the other end of the chain is a heart shaped clasp. This clasp was attached to a belt or the top of a waistband.

It was used by Lucie Bailey nee Hambly b 1872 d 1947 from Ballarat who was the donors maternal grandmother.
