A collection of memoirs, research and stories for the Ross Family.
The collection includes information regarding,
Robert Sinclair Ross b 1826 d 1909 and Christina Ross nee Munro b 1831 d 1886 from Kaiwaka. They arrived in Auckland aboard the sailing ship 'Maori' in 1859.
They were early European settlers of the Kaiwaka District.
There is a memoir written by their grandchild Olive Christina Luketina nee Eyre about her grandparents settling in the Kaiwaka district. Subjects mentioned include the Mander Family, Kaiwaka, early family life, Great North Road
There is also an original handwritten memoir by Elaine Mary Bray nee Ross, with the title 'Memories of my Childhood'. It was written in 1983.

It is dated 23rd May 1929.
