About this object
Alfred John Hook, known as Jack and his daughter Cathy.
Jack died by drowning in 1941, as he was on a ship which was sunk during WW2.
Jack married Joan Hook nee Prouse. Joan Hook ran the Mangawai Supply Store in Mangawhai Village, during the 1930's, which later became the Four Square store.
