Maldon Museum Victoria Australia has recently been given a similar badge. It was among a collection of objects associated with an Australian soldier who was stationed in Egypt in 1915, served in the Dardanelles and later served in France where he was killed in 1917. Could he have acquired it in Egypt, France or England?
